Our 1000kVA Dry Type Transformer Production Process
At Qianlai Electric, we adhere to a strict, standardized production process for every 1000kVA dry type transformer—from raw material selection to final delivery. Each step is supervised by our senior engineers to ensure consistent quality, meeting global standards and your project requirements.
Raw Material Inspection & Preparation
We source high-purity copper (or aluminum) windings and grain-oriented silicon steel cores from certified suppliers. All materials undergo strict testing—including copper conductivity, silicon steel magnetic permeability, and insulation material flame resistance—to eliminate substandard components from the start.
Core Cutting & Stacking
Using CNC precision cutting equipment, we cut silicon steel sheets into customized sizes. The sheets are then stacked layer by layer with insulation paper between layers, minimizing eddy current losses. The stacked core is clamped tightly and annealed to reduce internal stress, ensuring stable magnetic performance.
Winding Fabrication
Automated winding machines wind copper/aluminum conductors onto the core according to design parameters (turns, wire diameter). We use vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) technology to treat the windings with R-class insulation resin, forming a dense, moisture-proof insulation layer that enhances heat resistance and dielectric strength.
Core-Winding Assembly
The insulated windings are carefully assembled onto the core, with precise positioning to ensure uniform air gaps and avoid electromagnetic interference. Lead wires are welded and insulated, and temperature sensors (PT100) are installed to enable real-time thermal monitoring.
Enclosure & Accessory Installation
The assembled core-winding unit is mounted into a NEMA 3R/4X enclosure. We install cooling fans (for forced air cooling optional), terminal blocks, and protective devices (overload, short-circuit protection) to ensure safe operation and easy maintenance.
Strict Testing & Quality Control
Every transformer undergoes comprehensive testing—insulation resistance test, partial discharge test, load loss test, temperature rise test, and sound level test. Only products that pass all tests (compliant with UL 1561, IEEE C57.12.01) are allowed to proceed to packaging.
Packaging & Delivery
Qualified transformers are packaged in moisture-proof, shock-proof wooden crates. We also provide customized packaging for long-distance transportation. Each unit is accompanied by a test report, operation manual, and warranty certificate for your peace of mind.
